Job Description

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Legal Recruiting Manager to join their team!

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of legal recruiting, including hiring associates (entry-level and lateral), overseeing summer associate programs, and supporting partner hiring efforts. The individual will work closely with firm leadership, hiring partners, and external search firms to implement recruiting strategies and ensure successful candidate outreach and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for associates and law students, and support partner hiring.
  • Coordinate with search firms, schedule interviews, and communicate with practice group leaders.
  • Manage law school recruiting efforts and organize on-campus interviews and events.
  • Oversee the summer associate program, including evaluations, assignments, and events.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and analyze recruiting data.
  • Build relationships with law schools, industry organizations, and alumni.
  • Collaborate on alumni engagement and maintain ongoing contact through events and marketing.
  • Develop and manage the recruiting budget.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 5 years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Familiarity with legal industry trends and proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting software.
