Job Title Network Eng Sr Location St. Mary's County, Maryland (relocation assistance may be available) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled AV/VTC Engineer to join our innovative team. The role involves coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing AV software, as well as updating existing systems. The position requires collaboration with programming teams, project managers, engineers, and customers to enhance software effectiveness and efficiency. The work primarily supports the Special Operations community, offering the chance to work on cutting-edge government facilities. Responsibilities Primary system commissioning to ensure functionality across programming, networking, audio, and video systems. Develop and facilitate customer acceptance tests and provide end-user training. Review design drawings and equipment lists to meet all specifications. Assist project management with scheduling, staffing, and technical requirements. Configure equipment following industry standards and security guidelines. Create Digital Signal Processing (DSP) files from scratch. Stay updated on emerging technologies, including audio and video flow principles like AEC and EDID. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of AV/VTC experience or a high school diploma with 10+ years of experience. Experience in AV/VTC system design and installation. Manufacturer certifications from Crestron, Extron, Biamp, or Clearone preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of 2D CAD drawing development (Visio, AutoCAD, or equivalent). Preferred Skills Technical degree or certifications like Crestron Master Programmer, CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I. Military, DoD, or IC experience is a plus.
